Biography
Actor Kevin Sorbo, at 6 foot 3 inches, with long limbs and a Viking-like build, seemed perfect to be an action hero and indeed found fame as Hercules in the syndicated international hit series "Hercules: The Legendary Journeys" (1995-99). But such fame was a long time in coming. Sorbo dropped out of the University of Minnesota to pursue acting, having joined a theatre group in Dallas, Texas before heading to Europe. His first work in front of the cameras came in TV commercials in Europe and, after his 1987 move to Hollywood, California in the USA.
